PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on March 24, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance to rezone property at 5510 North 83rd Street from R2-Single-Family Residential District (Low-Density) to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

An ordinance to rezone property southeast of 14th and Ohio Streets from HI-Heavy Industrial District to R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 5122 North 90th Street.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-1-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 6016 Maple Street.

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-1-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southeast of Jones Street and Conagra Drive.

OMAHA STREETCAR AUTHORITY

NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The Omaha Streetcar Authority will have a Meeting at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 2026, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Public Works Department offices, but the Authority shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at https://omahastreetcar.org.
