NOTICE OF PETITION”
To the owners of all lots, lands, tracts, and parcels of land within proposed Sewer Improvement District No. 1580, and to all owners of property abutting on and adjacent to the intersection of 30th Avenue and Mason Street:
Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha a petition for the improvement of portions of the project area known as 30 Mason, located near the intersection of 30th Avenue and Mason Street, by the construction of a public sanitary sewer within the permanent easement area retained for the sewerage system within this development area.
We, the undersigned, owners of lots or lands abutting on and adjacent to the intersection of 30th Avenue and Mason Street, in proposed Sewer Improvement District No. 1580 in the City of Omaha, being record owners of a majority of the feet frontage on said part of said street, as shown by the generally recognized maps of said city, do hereby petition that the same be improved by the installation of a public sanitary sewer.
And we do further petition the City Council to order such improvement and cause it to be made.  Within thirty days of first publication of this notice, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement may:
1. By petition of a majority of said taxable front footage abutting the improvement, protest against the construction of such project pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 14-3,127; and,
2. By petition file a protest in the Office of the City Clerk against the regularity, legality, or sufficiency of the petition or signatures hereon, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code § 26-61.

ORDINANCE NO. 41143
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha, adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone the property located at 10606 Burt Circle from LI – Limited Industrial District to GO – General Office District.
SUMMARY:
The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, be and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that:
Lots 3-4, Dodge-680 Plaza, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from LI – Limited Industrial District to GO – General Office District.

ORDINANCE NO. 41146
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha, adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code to rezone property located northwest of 168th and Fort Streets from AG – Agricultural District to R4 – Single-Family Residential District (high density).
SUMMARY:
The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, be and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that:
Lots 1-88 and Outlots A-B, Pier 15, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from AG – Agricultural District to R4 – Single-Family Residential District (high density).

AN ORDINANCE declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of the Papillion Creek Interceptor Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation (South Branch) Phase 1, identified as Project No. OPW 52767 (RN); providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary construction easements; providing that as to each specified parcel which cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed; and, providing for the effective date hereof.
SUMMARY:

AN ORDINANCE approving a redevelopment and tax increment financing loan agreement between the City of Omaha, a Nebraska Municipal Corporation in Douglas County, Nebraska, and 3902 Harney, LLC, a Nebraska Limited Liability Company, to implement the Blackstone Knoll Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan for a project site located at the southwest corner of 39th and Farnam Streets, which proposes a new, mixed-use two-story structure with three market-rate apartments on the second floor and commercial retail and/or office space on the first floor; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $325,000.00 in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project; and, providing for an effective date.
SUMMARY:

AN ORDINANCE to approve exercising the second of two one-year options in a contract between the City of Omaha, a municipal corporation, and Corvel Enterprise Comp, Inc.; the initial contract was for a three-year term and was approved on June 18, 2013, at a cost not to exceed two hundred eighty thousand dollars ($280,000.00) per year, and the option contemplates an increase in the flat rate fee of three and one half percent per year dating from contract inception to provide workers’ compensation third party administrative services; such fund to be paid from Fund No. 11111, Organization 118017; and, to provide an effective date hereof.
