CITY OF OMAHA
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
 
     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on April 10, 2018, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
 
     Res. that the Special Use Permit application submitted by Christ for the City International, to allow Large group living in a CC-Community Commercial District for property located at 5835 North 90th Street, Omaha, Nebraska, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit "A" of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit "B", and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code
 
     Anyone interested in these matters should be in attendance.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
     Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of OPPD for the renewal of a Phase II acid rain permit for the facility at 7475 John J Pershing Drive, Omaha.  OPPD is an electric generation plant.  Allowable emissions for sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide will not be increased.
     No significant impact on air quality is expected from the continued operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended.
     All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from March 28, 2018 to April 28, 2018. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position.  The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.  Comments should be mailed to:

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
     Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of Consolidated Harm’s to obtain a minor air emission construction permit for a ready-mix concrete batch plant at 6155 “M” St, Omaha.  The potential emissions, in tons, for this project will be: PM 37.1, PM10 14.2, PM2.5 14.1, SOx 0.1, NOx 17.8, VOC 0.5, CO 7.1, Ammonia 0.3 and CO2 Equivalent 10,265.
     No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.
