Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on May 15, 2018 and passed and approved the ordinances entitled:
 
ORDINANCE NO. 41485
AN ORDINANCE to amend the boundaries of the ACl-1(PL) district of the Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southeast of 30th and Burt Streets; and to provide for an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. In accordance with Sections 55-609 through 55-617 and 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, the official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended so that: Lots 1-5 and Outlot A, The Landing, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned to be included in and incorporated into the ACl-1 (PL) district of the Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District; provided, that the base zoning district for such property shall not be changed by this ordinance. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.

ORDINANCE NO. 41474
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone the property located at 1217 Pacific Street from HI-Heavy Industrial District to NBD-Neighborhood Business District (property is also located within an existing ACl-1 Overlay District). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: The east 31 feet of the north 60 feet, along with the east 49 feet of the south 72 feet of Lot 3, Block 252, City Lots, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned from HI-Heavy Industrial District to NBD-Neighborhood Business District (property is also located within an existing ACl-1 Overlay District). ORDINANCE NO. 41476
AN ORDINANCE to approve a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District in an R6-Low Density Multiple Family Residential District, located at 1514 William Street, to approve the Development Plan, and to provide for an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. In accordance with Sections 55-595 through 55-600 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District and the Development Plan, attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved, for the following described land in Douglas County, Nebraska: KOUNTZE 3RD ADD LOT 8 BLOCK 6 E 1/2 25 X 136, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska. Section 2; The proposed Development Plan has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the site plan criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.

AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone the property located at 1514 William Street from GI-General Industrial District to R6-Low Density Multiple Family Residential District. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. ORDINANCE NO. 41473
AN ORDINANCE to designate the Grand Theatre Building located southwest of 16th and Binney Streets as a landmark pursuant to the Landmark Heritage Preservation Ordinance of the City of Omaha. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the Grand Theatre Building located southwest of 16th and Binney Streets, which is on the following described land, to wit: Lot 2, along with the south 15.97 feet of Lot 1 and the north 24.8 feet of Lot 3, Block 1, Kountze Place, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby deemed historically significant and worthy of recognition for the reasons cited in Landmark Heritage Preservation Resolution attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof by reference. Section 2. That the "Secretary of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and Guidelines for Rehabilitating Buildings", as may be from time to time amended, are hereby adopted as the design standards to be applied in the enforcement of this ordinance and Chapter 24, Article 11, of the Omaha Municipal Code. Section 3. That the Grand Theatre Building is hereby designated as a landmark pursuant to Section 24-61 of the Omaha Municipal Code and hereby subject to all of the provisions of this Ordinance and Chapter 24, Article II, of the Omaha Municipal Code. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen (15) days from and after the date of its passage.
