Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on March 6, 2018 and passed and approved the ordinances entitled:
 
ORDINANCE NO. 41420
AN ORDINANCE approving an Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska and Rick Bond of Cass County, Nebraska, involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for the terms and conditions under which Rick Bond will receive and land apply stabilized sewage sludge, according to applicable standards, laws, and policies of the City of Omaha and other relevant jurisdictions for an agreement period ending December 31, 2018 with up to four automatic one-year renewals; to authorize the Finance Department to pay a sum not to exceed $0.60 per cubic yard of stabilized sludge from the Sewer Revenue Fund 21121; and to provide an effective date hereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Omaha hereby approves the Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska and Rick Bond of Cass County, Nebraska, which by this reference is made a part hereof, that outlines the terms and conditions under which the Stabilized Sewage Sludge from the City of Omaha shall be received, stored and land applied, is hereby approved. Section 2. That the payments to Rick Bond for this disposal service, involving appropriations of more than one year, are authorized in accord with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended, for a period ending December 31, 2018 with up to four automatic one-year renewals thereafter. Section 3. That the Finance Department is authorized to make payments for the agreed services in the amount of $0.60 cubic yard, as specified under the contract, from the Sewer Revenue Fund 21121. Section 4. That this Ordinance, being administrative in character shall take effect and be in full force upon the date of its passage.

ORDINANCE NO. 41421
AN ORDINANCE approving a redevelopment and tax increment financing loan agreement between the City of Omaha, a Nebraska Municipal Corporation in Douglas County, Nebraska, and DPB Partnership, LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company, to implement the Dundee Professional Building Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Redevelopment Project Plan which is located at 119 North 51st Street, and proposes the comprehensive rehabilitation of a four story 14,960 square foot office building constructed in 1967; the agreement authorizes the use of up to $275,000.00, plus accrued interest, in excess ad valorem taxes (TIF) generated by the development to help fund the cost of the project; and providing for an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA; Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, the attached Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Omaha and DPB Partnership, LLC, a Nebraska limited liability company, to authorize the use of up to $275,000.00, used to offset TIF eligible expenses for building rehabilitation, architectural and engineering fees, environmental and public improvements as required, for a project with total estimated costs of $2,469,564.00, in addition to any other documents necessary or appropriate to implement the Redevelopment Agreement or to consummate the loan. Section 2. Said Redevelopment Agreement contains obligations undertaken pursuant to the Nebraska Community Development Law and Sections 18-2147 through 18-2150, and, are not otherwise obligations of the City of Omaha. Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and take effect fifteen (15) days from and after the date of its passage.

THE  SDL COMMITTEE
Notice is hereby given that the SDL Committee will meet in the City Council Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska, on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at 9:30 o’clock A.M., for the purpose of reviewing/approving/denying applications for Special Designated Licenses during the College World Series, at which time the Committee shall receive evidence and testimony concerning the issuance of Special Designated Liquor Licenses.

The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Omaha Public Library will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at the South Omaha Library, located at 2808 Q Street.  Proposed agenda kept continually current is available in the Administrative Office at the W.
