     NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on January 15, 2019, at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. The purpose of these hearings is to consider approval of:
     Class “CK” Liquor License for Irishmen 180, LLC, dba “Two Fine Irishmen”, located at 18101 “R” Plaza, Suite 108.
     Class “CK” Liquor License for 9th Street Joint Venture, LLC, dba “Local Beer, Patio, and Kitchen”, located at 1207 Cass Street, Suite CH.
     Anyone interested in these matters or desiring to give evidence in support of or in protest against the issuance of such license should be in attendance at this meeting.

     The Tri-County Homeland Security Working Group will meet at 9:00 AM on Friday, January 11th, 2019, at the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, Room 310 (Jesse Lowe Conference Room) in Omaha, Nebraska. An agenda, kept continually current, is available at Office of the Mayor, 1819 Farnam Street, Suite 300 in Omaha, Nebraska during normal business hours. The Tri-County Homeland Security Working Group shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature at said meeting. The Planning, Exercise, and Training (PET) sub-committee may meet immediately following. Please contact the Office of the Mayor at (402) 444-5000 at least five (5) days prior to the meeting for any special accommodations.

     Closing Time:  3:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2019
     Sealed bids are invited and will be received on or before the closing time, as per specifications on file in the office of Rehab Division of the Planning Department, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
     Sealed bids to be addressed to Rehabilitation Division, Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center marked "Bid on REHABILITATION OF DWELLING UNIT, with the address and job number identified", must be on file in his office on or before 3:00 P.M. on the closing date, at which time the bids will be opened and read by the Rehab Division before bidders and the public in Room 1111, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center.
     Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum salaries and wages as specified by the U.S. Secretary of Labor as set forth in the specification may be paid on the rehabilitation work.  The contractor must, furthermore, insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color or creed, sex or national origin.
     The bidder must file a certificate of insurance with the Rehab Division evidencing comprehensive public liability insurance coverage protecting the property owner for not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate arising out of the work performed by the contractor.  Evidence of workman's compensation insurance must be shown prior to receipt of the order to proceed with the work.
     The owner reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any or all bids in whole or in part.
