CITY OF OMAHA and DOUGLAS COUNTY Request for Proposal on: Distribution of Electronic Documents (Plans and Specifications) with Future Online Bidding Capabilities
BID OPENING DATE: 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 03, 2014
  Sealed proposals are invited and will be received on or before the opening time, as per specifications on file in the office of the Douglas County Purchasing Agent.  These documents may also be found at www.douglascountypurchasing.org.
  Sealed proposals are to be addressed to Buster Brown, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC 1, Omaha Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE  68183 and marked BID ON: Distribution of Electronic Documents (Plans and Specifications) with Future Online Bidding Capabilities and must be on file in his office on or before 11:00 a.m. on the bid opening date at which time the proposals will be opened and read by the City Clerk before the Bid Opening Committee and the public in LC 4, Omaha Douglas Civic Center.
  Submittals are to include: one (1) original, eight (8) copies, and two (2) electronic copies (CD or flash drive, editable) of their entire proposal.
  Douglas County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

   Alternately, project documents on CD-ROM will be available for $50.00 (non-refundable) per set which includes shipping.  Make your check payable to City of Omaha and sent to Public Works Department, 6th Floor, Attention:  Michael, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, Omaha, NE  68183.
   All bidders are required to comply with the Omaha Contract Compliance Program.  Details of this program are incorporated in the bid documents.
   Sealed bids to be addressed to Buster Brown, City Clerk, 1819 Farnam Street, LC-1 - Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, and must be on file in his office, on or before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 for opening in public in LC-4, Omaha-Douglas Civic Center at the above time and date.
   As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid.  City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.
