CITY OF OMAHA

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on July 21, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of State Street and Blair High Road from AG–Agricultural District and GI–General Industrial District to GI–General Industrial District.

 

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled State and Highway 133 Addition (Lots 5 and 6), a subdivision outside city limits, located northwest of State Street and Blair High Road, is hereby approved and accepted; and concurrently that a portion of the existing plat entitled State and Highway 133 Addition is hereby vacated.

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement between the City of Omaha and Westwood Solutions LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as State and Highway 133 Addition (Lots 5-6) and is located northwest of State Street and Blair High Road.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street from R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District and GC-General Commercial District to NBD-Neighborhood Business District.

 

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-1-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street.

 

An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the City’s Master Plan to expand the 24th and Lake Street mixed-use boundary for the property located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street.

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Lake Street Grocery Store Addition, a minor plat inside city limits, located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled of Lake Street Grocery Store Addition, a minor plat inside city limits, located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled Patrick’s 2nd Addition, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement between the City of Omaha and RH Land Management Co. LLC, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Lake Street Grocery Store Addition (Lot 1) and is located southwest of Lake Street and 25th Street.

 

An ordinance to amend Section 1 of Ordinance No. 44585, passed February 10th, 2026 pertaining to a rezoning, located at 5073 Kansas Avenue, in Douglas County, Nebraska, to correct the legal description of said lands.

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 6024 P Street from DR-Development Reserve District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 5228 Ames Avenue from R3-Single-Family Residential District (Medium-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

 

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 4801 Q Street.

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 2715 and 2723 Q Street from R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to GI-General Industrial District.

 

An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI- Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 2715 and 2723 Q Street.

 

An ordinance to repeal the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District for the property located at 2715 and 2723 Q Street.

 

An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Future Land Use Element of the City’s Master Plan from High Density Residential to Industrial for the property located at 2715 and 2723 Q Street.
