An accomplished attorney in her own right, Jodie McGill is an advocate in the truest sense of the word. McGill is a staunch defender of family welfare.

The view from her west Omaha office is much different from the one she knew growing up in York, Nebraska.
But for Roxanne Alhejaj, her vision is only slightly changed from what she at first set out to be. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with her B.A. from Creighton and earning her law degree with honors from the Creighton University School of Law, she always worked with numbers.

Richard Berkshire is an Omaha native who graduated from Westside High School in 1972. He attended Hastings College where he triple majored in Political science, Pre-Law and Economics. Berkshire’s father was a lawyer whose office was on the fourteenth floor of the Kiewit Plaza. Berkshire spent a lot of time around his father’s practice. He started working at the office mowing the lawns and running errands for the firm.

Hannah Sommers grew up in Kansas City, then went to University of Missouri for Broadcast Journalism. She learned it was not the field for her, but the job helped hone her questioning and writing skills. Law School presented a different way to write, law writing being more repetitive than journalistic writing. “It’s been kind of fun to evolve as that kind of writer,” Hannah Sommers said. The schedule she found in journalism drove her to change careers.

Jeana Goosmann went to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to major in business. Goosmann found her passion after being assigned to create a company for an entrepreneurship class. She found herself wondering: what does it mean to run a business? and the process it takes to open a company. Goosmann’s curiosity led her to law school. She was accepted into Creighton’s law school with the Muchmore scholarship which paid her tuition in full.
