The Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency’s Draft FY2027-FY2032 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is available for public comment. The public comment period runs from May 28, 2026, to June 22, 2026.
The Transportation Improvement Program is a six-year document, updated annually, which documents the progress toward projects that include federal transportation funding.
The Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) seeks public comment on an amendment to its FY2026 Transportation Improvement Program, which includes the addition of four projects and an update to one project description. The public comment period runs May 21, 2026, to May 27, 2026.

The regular monthly meeting of the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) Transportation Technical Advisory Committee (TTAC) is scheduled at 10:00 a.m. May 22, 2026 TTAC will take place at MAPA offices, 2222 Cuming Street, Omaha. The Transportation Technical Advisory Committee will meet in the MAPA Board Room.
The Metropolitan Area Planning Agency (MAPA) is issuing an eMoto Policy Planning Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from consultants for development of a policy governing the use of electric mobility devices, particularly high-powered electric motorcycles, on the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area’s regional trail system.
