Redfin Survey: Majority of U.S. Homeowners and Renters Say Housing Affordability Affects Their Pick for President

(NASDAQ: RDFN) — More than half (53.2%) of U.S. homeowners and renters say housing affordability is impacting who they plan to vote for in the upcoming presidential election. That’s according to a new report from Redfin ( redfin.com ), the technology-powered real estate brokerage.

As societies look for ways to cut greenhouse gas emissions and slow climate change, large-scale solar power is playing a central role. Climate scientists view it as the tool with the greatest potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 2030. In the U.S., the Department of Energy predicts that solar will account for nearly 60% of all new utility-scale electricity-generating capacity installed in 2024.

Price, Public Incentives Increase Under Updated $861M Omaha Crossroads Mall Makeover Plan

OMAHA — The team trying to revamp Omaha’s Crossroads mall site has redesigned the plan for the area and is seeking also to increase the initial tax-increment financing package by nearly 33%, to $105.5 million.

The eviction notice came as a shock to Crystal Hoss. The single mother of four was only $250 behind on rent and thought she had more time to catch up.
