Baright Wildlife Encounters 2021
Families gathered at Wildewood Elementary School to meet several animals from Wildlife Encounters. The educational program was sponsored by Ralston’s Baright Public Library as part of its summer program. It was originally scheduled for Wildewood Park, but the hot temperatures Wednesday, June 28, 2021, forced the event to relocate. Attendees were introduced to Tater Tot the armadillo, Captain Crunch the alligator, Peanut Butter the hedgehog, Snickers the boa constrictor, Oliver the kinkajou and Tuck the red kangaroo. Books reflecting upon animals were also recommended. (Photos by Scott Stewart)
