PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

PURITAN MANUFACTURING

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on October 27, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Puritan Manufacturing Project Plan.

Puritan Manufacturing, Inc.

1302 Grace Street

The redevelopment project plan proposes the demolition of an existing building and the construction of a new 100-by-115 square foot building to expand its metal fabrication operations.

The Planning Board recommended denial of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the September 2, 2026 public hearing. 

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $423,477.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as excavation and site work, demolition, architecture and engineering fees, and public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $3,674,090.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
