NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The Omaha Streetcar Authority will have a Meeting at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, January 22, 2024, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street in Omaha, Nebraska, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Authority shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at https://www.cityofomaha.org/omaha-streetcar.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on January 9, 2024 and passed and approved the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 43650
AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located west of 103rd Street and Blair High Road from DR - Development Reserve District to R4 - Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
Summary: The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: LOTS 1-7 & OUTLOT A, CHERRY CREEK, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from DR - Development Reserve District to R4 - Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

AN ORDINANCE to approve a PUD - Planned Unit Development Overlay District, located west of 103rd Street and Blair High Road, to approve the Development Plan, and to provide for an effective date.
Summary: In accordance with Sections 55-584 through 55-594 of the Omaha Municipal Code, a PUD-Planned Unit Development Overlay District and the Development Plan, attached hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved, for the following described land in Douglas County, Nebraska: LOTS 8-11 & OUTLOTS B-F, CHERRY CREEK, a subdivision in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned to be included in and incorporated into the PUD-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District; provided, that the base zoning district for such property shall not be changed by this ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE approving a Professional Services Agreement between the City of Omaha and Q-Free America, Inc. for the continued traffic signal controller software support and deployment services on OPW 54604, being the Traffic Signal Controller Hardware and Software Project, effective for an initial term of two (2) years with options to extend for three (3) additional two (2) year terms; to provide for payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments according to actual usage, at an estimated first year cost of $167,853.80, from specific accounts; and to provide an effective date hereof.

AN ORDINANCE to amend Section 6-105 of the Omaha Municipal Code to increase the annual fee to license dogs and cats by one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) on January 1, 2024 and to increase the annual fee to license dogs and cats by an additional one dollar ($1.00) on January 1, 2026; to amend Section 6-27 of the Omaha Municipal Code to increase the nondomestic animal removal fee for the second and third removal in a calendar year to fifteen ($15) dollars and to increase the nondomestic animal removal fee for subsequent removals after the third removal to fifty ($50) dollars; and to provide the effective date hereof.

AIR QUALITY CONTROL
Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of Metropolitan Utilities District to obtain a minor air emission construction permit for their pump station at 3805 Hamilton Street, Omaha. The potential emissions, in tons, for this project will be: PM 0.5, PM10 0.5, PM2.5 0.5, SOx 0.1, NOx 57.3, VOC 0.8, CO 96.5, Acrolein 0.1, Formaldehyde 0.5 and CO2 equivalent 3000.
No significant impact on air quality is expected from the operation of this facility. Douglas County is in attainment with air quality standards for the listed pollutants. Approval is recommended with the condition that any pollution control equipment that may be necessary for compliance with the City of Omaha or Nebraska Air Pollution Control Rules and Regulations will be installed within 180 days after notification by the City of noncompliance.
All information submitted by the applicant and the proposed approval by Air Quality Control are available for inspection by the public at the office of Omaha Air Quality Control from January 17, 2024 to February 17, 2024. Comments received during that period will be considered. During that period the applicant, or any interested person or group of persons, may request or petition the Control Officer for a public hearing, and state the nature of the issues to be raised and all arguments and factual grounds supporting their position. The Control Officer may hold a public hearing if the comments, requests, or petitions raise legal, policy or discretionary questions and significant public interest exists with respect to the application.
