PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183. The purpose of these hearings is to consider approval of:

Class “C” Liquor License for Admiral Omaha, LLC, dba “Admiral Omaha”, located at 2234 South 13th Street.

Class “D” Liquor License for Rahama petroleum, LLC, dba “NP Mart 13”, located at 901 North 24th Street.

Anyone interested in these matters or desiring to give evidence in support of or in protest against the issuance of such license should be in attendance at this meeting.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 15, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Capriana, a subdivision inside city limits, located west of 210th and Emmet Streets, along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

An ordinance to rezone property located Southeast of 218th and Karen Streets from R4-Single-Family Residential District to DR-Development Reserve.

An ordinance to rezone property located Southeast of 218th and Karen Streets from R4-Single-Family Residential District to R4-Single-Family Residential District.

Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled Westbury Farm Replat 2, a subdivision outside city limits, located Southeast of 218th and Karen Streets, is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plat entitled West Farm, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, Westbury Farm, LLC, and Sanitary and Improvement District No. 577 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is known as Westbury Farm Replat 2 (Outlots A-B) and is located southeast of 218th and Karen Streets.

An ordinance to approve the Forever North Housing and Multimodal Transportation Strategy for the City of Omaha located in an area generally bound by Ames Avenue on the north, Cuming Street on the south, 20th Street on the east, and Highway 75 on the west.

Anyone interested in these matters should be in attendance.

NOTICE OF PETITION

To the owners of all lots, lands, tracts, and parcels of land within proposed Street Improvement District No. 2021-01, and to all owners of property abutting on and adjacent to Ridgewood Avenue, from Poppleton Avenue to Pacific Street and Poppleton Avenue, from Ridgewood Avenue to Loveland Drive:

Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha a petition for the improvement of Ridgewood Avenue, from Poppleton Avenue to Pacific Street and Poppleton Avenue, from Ridgewood Avenue to Loveland Drive by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete.

We, the undersigned, owners of lots or lands abutting upon that part of Ridgewood Avenue, from Poppleton Avenue to Pacific Street and Poppleton Avenue, from Ridgewood Avenue to Loveland Drive in proposed Street Improvement District No. 2021-01 in the City of Omaha, being record owners of a majority of the feet frontage on said part of said street, as shown by the generally recognized maps of said city, do hereby petition that the same be improved by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete.

And we do further petition the City Council to order such improvement and cause it to be made. Within thirty days of first publication of this notice, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement may:

1.  By petition of a majority of said taxable front footage abutting the improvement, protest against the construction of such project pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 14-3,127; and,

2.  By petition file a protest in the Office of the City Clerk against the regularity, legality, or sufficiency of the petition or signatures hereon, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code § 26-61.
