PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on July 15, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 24th Avenue and Saint Marys Avenue from DS-Downtown Service District to DS-Downtown Service District (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District).

 

An ordinance to rezone property located northwest of 24th Avenue and Saint Marys Avenue from DS-Downtown Service District to CBD-Commercial Business District (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District).

 

Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Completely Kids Henry Davis, a minor plat inside city limits, located northwest of 24th Avenue and Saint Marys Avenue (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District), along with the conditions, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.

 

Res. that, the Final Plat transmitted herewith entitled of Completely Kids Henry Davis, a minor plat inside city limits, located northwest of 24th Avenue and Saint Marys Avenue (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District), is hereby approved, and concurrently a portion of the existing plats entitled Thornells and Lutheran Place, and described on said replat, is hereby vacated.

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, CK Real Estate Holdings, LLC, and Behavioral Health Support Foundation, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as Completely Kids Henry Davis (Lots 1-2) and is located northwest of 24th Avenue and Saint Marys Avenue.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located at 3011, 3013, 3015, 3051, 3053, 3057, 3063, and 3065 South 28th Avenue from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District to GI-General Industrial District.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located southeast of 49th Street and North Saddle Creek Road from GC-General Commercial District to NBD-Neighborhood Business District (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District).

 

An ordinance to approve a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District, located southeast of 49th Street and North Saddle Creek Road (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District), to approve the Development Plan.

 

Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Tasty Pizza for a Special Use Permit to allow Restaurant (drive-in) in the NBD District, located southeast of 49th Street and North Saddle Creek Road (property is located within an ACI-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District), is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.

CITY OF OMAHA

NOTICE TO PUBLIC

 

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.
