CITY OF OMAHA

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on August 4, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

 

An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 192nd and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to DR-Development Reserve District.

 

An ordinance to rezone property located southwest of 192nd and Ida Streets from AG-Agricultural District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

 

Res. that, the Final Plat entitled McArdle Ridge, a subdivision outside city limits, located southwest of 192nd and Ida Streets, is hereby approved and accepted.

 

Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, McArdle Ridge, LLC, The McArdle Ridge Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 638 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as McArdle Ridge (Lots 1 - 267 and Outlots A-E) and is located southwest of 192nd and Ida Streets.

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 2806 Mormon Street from GI-General Industrial District to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 9909 North 52nd Street from DR-Development Reserve District and R2-Single-Family Residential District (Low-Density) to R2-Single-Family Residential District (Low-Density) (property is located within an ED- Environmental Overlay District).

 

An ordinance to rezone property at 3219 Leavenworth Street from GI-General Industrial District to TOD-2-MX-Transit Oriented Development District-Mixed Use.

 

An ordinance to rescind the ACI–Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District for property located at 3219 Leavenworth Street.

 

An ordinance to approve an amendment to the Urban Development Element of the Master Plan for the City of Omaha, to move the Present Development Zone boundary at various locations within the City of Omaha zoning jurisdiction.

 

An ordinance to amend Chapter 10 of the Omaha Municipal Code: to amend Section 10-313 to establish a new schedule of ASIP Fees; amend Section 10-315 to update the list of ASIP projects; to repeal Sections 10-313 and 10-315 of the Omaha Municipal Code as heretofore existing.

 

An ordinance to amend Chapter 31 of the Omaha Municipal Code: to amend Section 31-259 to establish a new schedule of Interceptor Sewer Fees; to repeal Section 31-259 of the Omaha Municipal Code as heretofore existing.
