NOTICE OF PETITION
To the owners of all lots, lands, tracts, and parcels of land within proposed Street Improvement Project No. 2020-01A, and to all owners of property abutting on and adjacent to North 92nd Street, from Decatur Circle to Franklin Street:
Notice is hereby given that there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Omaha a petition for the improvement of North 92nd Street, from Decatur Circle to Franklin Street by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete, as well as addressing storm drainage, according to City Specification.
We, the undersigned, owners of lots or lands abutting upon that part of North 92nd Street, from Decatur Circle to Franklin Street in proposed Street Improvement Project No. 2020-01A in the City of Omaha, being record owners of a majority of the feet frontage on said part of said street, as shown by the generally recognized maps of said city, do hereby petition that the same be improved by grading, curbing, and paving in Portland cement concrete.
And we do further petition the City Council to order such improvement and cause it to be made. Within thirty days of first publication of this notice, the owners of property abutting the proposed improvement may:
1. By petition of a majority of said taxable front footage abutting the improvement, protest against the construction of such project pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 14-3,127; and,
2. By petition file a protest in the Office of the City Clerk against the regularity, legality, or sufficiency of the petition or signatures hereon, pursuant to Omaha Municipal Code § 26-61.
