Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on August 10, 2021 and passed and approved the following ordinances:

ORDINANCE NO. 42605

AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located at 4615 Davenport Street from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

Summary: The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: Lot 1, Briggs Place Replat 4, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

ORDINANCE NO. 42627

AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located at 1116 and 1120 North 40th Street from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District and R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

Summary: The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: The south 100 feet and of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 14, Walnut Hill, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District and R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District;

ORDINANCE NO. 42629

AN ORDINANCE to amend the official zoning map of the City of Omaha adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code, by changing certain boundaries of the official zoning map of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, to rezone property located southwest of 162nd and Ida Streets from R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

Summary: The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: Lot 10, Stone Creek, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, is hereby rezoned from R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.

ORDINANCE NO. 42630

AN ORDINANCE to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 3404 Q Street; and to provide for an effective date.

Summary: In accordance with Sections 55-681 through 55-688 and 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, the official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended so that: Lot 2, La Cuadra Replat 1, a Subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska is hereby rezoned to be included in and incorporated into the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District; provided, that the base zoning district for such property shall not be changed by this ordinance.

ORDINANCE NO. 42631

AN ORDINANCE to amend the boundaries of the ACl-3-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 11515 Miracle Hills Drive; and to provide an effective date.

Summary: In accordance with Sections 55-609 through 55-617 and 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, the official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended so that: LOT 3 BLOCK 0 IRR E 89.89 N 98 FT & IRR S 170.23 E 69.3 FT LT 2 & -EX NWSTLY TRIA PT- LT 3 IRREG, Miracle Hills Park Replat, a subdivision surveyed, platted and recorded, Douglas County, Nebraska is hereby rezoned to be included in and incorporated into the ACl-3-Area of Civic Importance Overlay District; provided, that the base zoning district for such property shall not be changed by this ordinance.

Summary: The official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended in accordance with Section 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code so that: The west 54 feet of Lot 1, Block 4, Wilcox Addition, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned from HI-Heavy Industrial District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).

AN ORDINANCE to repeal the ACI-1-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District, for property located at 2411 Castelar Street, and to provide for an effective date.

Summary: In accordance with Sections 55-671 through 55-680 of the Omaha Municipal Code, the ACI-1-Areas of Civic Importance Overlay District is hereby repealed, for the following described land in Douglas County, Nebraska: The west 54 feet of Lot 1, Block 4, Wilcox Addition, a subdivision as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska.

ORDINANCE NO. 42635

AN ORDINANCE to accept the bid from Galls, LLC, which is headquartered at 1340 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, KY, with a local branch located at 3105 Leavenworth Street, Omaha, NE, involving the payment of money from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended; to provide firm price commitments per item for two years, on Omaha Police Department standard uniform items, which are to be provided to members of the Omaha Police Department, although prices have been specifically determined by the bid, the exact costs are indeterminate and will vary depending on the purchases, they are anticipated to be in the approximate area of, with the possibility of exceeding, the sum of $1,150,555.14, over the two-year period; and to provide the effective date hereof.
