PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

KEELINE BUILDING

REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on October 4, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Keeline Building

Redevelopment Project Plan

Applicant: Violet Quarters LLC

Location: 319 South 17th Street

The redevelopment project proposes to rehabilitate the 61,000 square foot historic building.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the June 2, 2022 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $1,010,093.00, plus capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, building rehabilitation, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $6,818,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

Anyone interested in this matter should be in attendance.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on October 4, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Kennedy Square East

Redevelopment Project Plan

Applicant: Omaha Municipal Land Bank

Location: Southwest of 30th

and Bristol Streets

The redevelopment project plan proposes a 102 unit mixed income affordable housing complex with 11 residential structures and one mixed use building.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the August 3, 2022 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $1,960,000.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as site preparation, demolition, architectural and engineering costs, various studies and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $38,726,522.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on October 4, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

48th & Dodge

Redevelopment Project Plan

Applicant: 4647, LLC

Location: Southeast of 48th

and Dodge Streets

The redevelopment project plan proposes the new construction of a five story apartment building and to rehabilitate the historic building at 4629 Dodge Street.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the August 3, 2022 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of TIF in an amount up to $10,750,000.00, plus capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, demolition, site work, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $82,292,578.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
