Electronic bid submission:  The City of Omaha requires all bidders to submit their bids electronically.  Each respondent is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure their submission is received and complete by the listed closing date and time.  The City/County is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to the same.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

 

Notice is hereby given that the OMAHA CITY CLERK will receive sealed bids until WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1st, 2026 AT 11:00 A.M. FOR DOUGLAS CO. PROJECT NO. C-28(649) 2026 ARMOR COAT AND FOG SEAL OF 34.2 MILES OF COUNTY ROADS AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS.

Contract Documents, such as plans, specifications and electronic bid forms, may be obtained on the Douglas County Purchasing (ionwave) website at https://douglascountypurchasing.ionwave.net/Login.aspx. Paper plans and specifications are available for review at the Douglas County Engineer’s Office, 15505 West Maple Road, Omaha, Nebraska 68116.

All bids shall be submitted on the electronic forms provided by the Douglas County Purchasing Department. Electronic bid forms can be found on the Douglas County Purchasing (ionwave) website at https://douglascountypurchasing.ionwave.net/Login.aspx.

Bidders must complete all required fields. Bids must be electronically filed on or before the bid closing date and time listed above.

As evidence of good faith in submitting a proposal for this work, the bidder must upload a copy of a certified check or bid bond, made payable to Douglas County in the sum of 5% of the bid. The original document must be received by Douglas County Purchasing Department within seven (7) business days of the closing date and time indicated.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Surety Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract.

The Board of Douglas County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Bids will publicly be opened and read aloud in the City/County Legislative Chambers of the Omaha Douglas Civic Center on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1ST, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
