ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Ralston is accepting bids for the following:

Project Identification:  City or Ralston CARES Act HVAC and Touchless Systems

Project Location:  City of Ralston – various locations – City, Hall, Police Station, Fire Station, Maintenance Buildings, Parks, Library

Engineer:  Specialized Engineering Solutions, 10360 Ellison Circle, Omaha, Nebraska 68134

Project Description:  Replace HVAC Systems to install air purification devices and replace plumbing fixtures with hands-free sensor operated fixtures to help reduce and slow the spread of COVID-19

Construction Contract:  Bids will be received for the following work:  General Contract (all trades).

City of Ralston will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below.  Immediately preceding, bids will be publicly opened.  The City of Ralston will consider bids prepared in compliance with the instructions to Bidders issued by the City of Ralston.

Bid Date, Time, and Location:  November 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM local time, at the City of Ralston, in care of the City Clerk, 5500 South 77th Street, Ralston, NE  68127.

Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount.  No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.  The City of Ralston reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

A prebid meeting for all bidders will be held at the City Council Chambers on November 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM local time.  Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend.

Printed procure and contracting documents can be obtained after November 2, 2020 by contacting Specialized Engineering Solutions, Attn: Greg Koll at 402.991.5520.  Documents will be provided to prime bidders only; complete sets of documents will be issued.  Only electronic copies will be provided.
