NOTICE OF ELECTION 

CITY OF VALLEY

NEBRASKA LOCAL OPTION REVENUE ACT BALLOT QUESTION

Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 77-27,142.04, notice is hereby given that at the general election to be held on November 3, 2026, the following question shall be submitted to the voters of the City of Valley for their approval or rejection:

“Shall the City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska, be authorized to allocate up to fifty percent (50%) of the revenue the City collects from its one and one-half percent (1.5%) local sales and use tax, on and after January 1, 2027, for the purpose of planning, designing, constructing, equipping, financing, and maintaining a new municipal swimming pool and related aquatic facilities?”

The polls shall be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time on the day of the election.  Persons may inquire about and obtain ballots for early voting at the Douglas County Election Commission, 12220 W. Center Road, Omaha, NE 68144; (402) 444-8683.
