NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
OF THE DOUGLAS COUNTY
BOARD OF EQUALIZATION,
THE DOUGLAS COUNTY
NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL AUTHORITY, AND THE DOUGLAS COUNTY
BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the Douglas County Board of Equalization, the Douglas County Noxious Weed Control Authority, and the Douglas County Board of Commissioners will meet consecutively beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meetings will be held at the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam, Legislative Chamber, Omaha, NE. The meetings will be open to the general public.
A list of applications from organizations seeking tax exemption, descriptions of the property, and recommendations of the Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds, to be heard by the Douglas County Board of Equalization on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, are available in the Douglas County Assessor/Register of Deeds office.
The meeting agendas, kept continually current, are readily available for public inspection in the Commissioners’ Office in the Civic Center during normal business hours. Also available for public inspection will be any corresponding documentation that is provided to the Commissioners’ Office prior to the weekly County Board meeting. Except for items of an emergency nature, the agendas shall not be enlarged later than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting commencement. The Board has the right to modify its agenda to include items of an emergency nature only when the meeting is in session.
Committee meetings scheduled for the month will be listed on the County’s website at www.douglascounty-ne.gov and on the County Board Agenda.

LAND REUTILIZATION COMMISSION
PUBLICATION NOTICE
The Board of Commissioners of the Land Reutilization Commission (LRC) of Douglas County will meet for their regular meeting at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2025 in Room H-13, Omaha-Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam St., Omaha, Nebraska. An agenda for said meeting of the Commission shall be readily available in the LRC office at Room 909, 1819 Farnam St, Omaha Nebraska. An auction will not be necessary. In the event of an emergency, the Commission shall have the right to modify the agenda at said public meeting.

Notice is hereby given that on Monday, January 27, 2025, the Board of Trustees for the Douglas County Health Center and the Community Mental Health Center will meet at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Douglas County Health Center, 4102 Woolworth Avenue, Town Hall, Omaha, Nebraska 68105 and is also available via Zoom. The meeting will be open to the general public.
The meeting agendas, kept continually current, are readily available for public inspection in the Administrator’s Office in the Douglas County Health Center during normal business hours. Also available for public inspection will be any corresponding documentation that is provided to the Administrator’s Office prior to the monthly Board Meeting. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only when the meeting is in session.
