BY ELECTION AND FILING DEADLINES

STATEWIDE GUBERNATORIAL 

GENERAL ELECTION

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026

 

I, Danielle Jensen, Douglas County Election Commissioner, hereby give notice of the offices to be filled by election that will appear on the 2026 General Election Ballot in Douglas County, Nebraska. Notice is also given that the filing deadlines for such offices are July 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. for incumbents and August 3, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. for non-incumbents. An incumbent is anyone serving in an elected office, even if they are filing for an office other than the one in which they are presently serving.

NOTICE OF TIME CHANGE 

ON THE PUBLIC MEETING OF 

THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR 

THE DOUGLAS COUNTY 

HEALTH CENTER (DCHC) 

AND THE COMMUNITY 

MENTAL HEALTH CENTER (CMHC)

 

There is a correction to the start time of the meeting. It will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 30th at 1819 Farnam, Legislative Chambers, Omaha.

The Board of Trustees for the Douglas County Health Center and the Community Mental Health Center will meet on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 9:00 am. at the City of Omaha/Douglas County Civic Center, 1819 Farnam, Legislative Chambers, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 or it is also available via Zoom. The meeting will be open to the general public.

The meeting agendas, kept continually current, are readily available for public inspection in the Administrator’s Office in the Douglas County Health Center during normal business hours. Also available for public inspection will be any corresponding documentation that is provided to the Administrator’s Office prior to the monthly Board Meeting. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only when the meeting is in session.
