CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK
FOR DC WEST COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
FOR MULTI-SPORT ACTIVITIES COMPLEX PROJECT

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Education of Douglas County School District 28-0015, a/k/a DC West Community Schools, a Class III public school and Nebraska political subdivision (School), is requesting proposals from qualified construction management firms to provide design consulting and construction management at risk services pursuant to the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Construction Alternatives Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 13-2901 et seq., relating to a new multi-sport activities/athletics complex project.
The School hereby invites interested qualified construction management firms to submit sealed proposals to the request for proposals (RFP). The RFP and supporting documents may be obtained from A&D Technical Supply in Omaha, Nebraska.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on January 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in person at the School’s administration office located at 401 S. Pine Street, Valley, Nebraska. Attendance at the pre-proposal conference is not required to submit a proposal.
Sealed proposals must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on February 20, 2024, at the School’s administrative office at 401 S. Pine Street, Valley, Nebraska. Proposals may be delivered in person, via United States Mail, or parcel service. Only such proposals as have been received by the School at the address, time and date listed above will be considered. Following the opening of proposals, the proposals will be evaluated, the construction manager at risk candidates ranked in order of preference, and a contract negotiated and approved according to School policy.
The School reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received that are not deemed to be in the best interests of the School. The School further reserves the right to cancel or amend the RFP and contract documents at any time and will notify all persons requesting proposal documents accordingly.
