The Omaha Public Schools Board of Education and Educational Service Unit 19 will hold their next regularly scheduled Board Meeting on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 6:30 PM Central. The meeting will be held at the Teacher Administrative Center (TAC), 3215 Cuming Street, Omaha, NE 68131-2000. A copy of the current agenda is available for public inspection in the office of the Board Secretary at TAC during normal business hours. The agenda may also be viewed by clicking on the Current Meeting link under the Board of Education tab at district.ops.org.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

1. Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for the McMillan Middle School Closed Circuit Cooling Tower Addition, Bid Number 22-040, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called the “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by Morrissey Engineering are to be received by 2:00 PM, CT, Friday, May 20, 2022. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud, and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will not be considered. The time clock maintained by OPS District Operational Services shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. There will be a MANDATORY Pre-Bid Site Walk Through on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at McMillan Middle School.

Sealed proposals addressed to the Board of Education of the Omaha Public Schools, Douglas County, Nebraska, for Roof Repairs at Various Facilities: Central High School, Wilson Focus School, McMillan Middle School, and Minne Lusa Elementary, Bid Number 22-075, for the Omaha Public Schools, hereinafter called “District” in accordance with plans, specifications and Contract Documents adopted by the District, prepared by OPS and Schemmer Architects and Engineers, are to be received at the OPS Service Center, 4041 N. 72nd Street, Omaha, NE at 2:00 PM (CT) on Wednesday April 27, 2022. At that time, the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud and tabulation will be made to present to the Board of Education at the next regular meeting for consideration in awarding the Contract. Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The email time stamp maintained by the OPS Service Center shall be the official clock utilized to determine the time for close of bidding. A mandatory Pre-Bid Tour of all facilities will be held starting at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 6, 2022, starting at Minne Lusa Elementary, 2728 Ida St. Omaha, NE. Those not attending the tours of all four facilities will not be allowed to bid.
