Right At Home Announces New CEO
Margaret Haynes joined Right At Home in 2011 as the senior vice president of quality and standards, then moved into a role as the Chief Operating Officer in 2014. In 2022 she became Right At Home’s CEO. She is thankful to the CEO before her, Brian Protronick, for setting a solid foundation for the private duty home care business.
Right At Home is a franchise network with independently owned offices across the U.S. and in 7 other countries. Haynes hopes to continue bringing support and ease into the lives of those who want assistance aging gracefully.
Right At Home prides itself in improving the quality of life for those they serve. They are not only looking at those who need their care but improving the lives of the friends and family of those they care for by giving peace of mind. The in-home care industry has seen a major labor shortage as of late. Right At Home is struggling to find enough workers to meet their client’s needs. They are focusing on solving environmental issues such as loose rugs or installing grab bars to avoid serious fall risks. The biggest challenge at times is getting their clients to accept the help that their family believes they need. People don’t like to accept that their abilities are wavering. Right At Home focuses on person centered care. If they’re still able to play bridge but have mobility issues, they will focus on ways to get them to the bridge game.
Each client’s needs and quality-of-life is the main focus of Haynes and Right At Home’s mission.
