NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

OF NEBRASKA ELEMENTARY 

AND SECONDARY SCHOOL 

FINANCE AUTHORITY

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at the offices of Gilmore & Bell, P.C., 2120 South 72nd Street, Suite 1000 (10th Floor), Omaha, Nebraska, concerning the issuance of a Revenue Bond (Duchesne Academy Project), Series 2026, in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $6,000,000 (the “Bond”), for the benefit of Duchesne College & Convent of the Sacred Heart, (the “Borrower”) by the Nebraska Elementary and Secondary School Finance Authority (the “Authority”).

The proceeds of the Bond will be loaned by the Authority to the Borrower and used to pay a portion of the costs of constructing a 40,000 square foot gymnasium and commons area, renovations to the current kitchen, and related improvements at the Borrower’s educational facilities located at 3601 Burt Street, Omaha, Nebraska (the “Project”). The Project is, or will be, owned, leased and operated by the Borrower.

THE BOND SHALL NEVER CONSTITUTE AN INDEBTEDNESS OF THE STATE OR ANY POLITICAL SUBDIVISION THEREOF WITHIN THE MEANING OF ANY STATE CONSTITUTIONAL PROVISION OR STATUTORY LIMITATION, SHALL NEVER CONSTITUTE OR GIVE RISE TO A PECUNIARY LIABILITY OF THE STATE OR A CHARGE AGAINST ITS GENERAL CREDIT OR TAXING POWERS, AND NO TAX FUNDS WILL EVER BE USED TO PAY ANY PART THEREOF.  THE BOND AND THE INTEREST THEREON ARE PAYABLE SOLELY FROM THE REVENUES DERIVED BY THE AUTHORITY FROM THE PROJECT.  

All interested persons are invited to present comments at the public hearing or to submit written comments to the Authority’s counsel, Gilmore & Bell, P.C., 2120 South 72nd Street, Suite 1000, Omaha, Nebraska 68124, concerning the issuance of the Bond or the Project.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at the offices of Gilmore & Bell, P.C., 2120 South 72nd Street, Suite 1000 (10th Floor), Omaha, Nebraska, concerning the issuance of a Revenue Bond (Skutt Catholic High School Project), Series 2026, in the maximum aggregate principal amount of $9,500,000 (the “Bond”), for the benefit of V.J. & Angela Skutt Catholic High School of Omaha, (the “Borrower”) by the Nebraska Elementary and Secondary School Finance Authority (the “Authority”).

The proceeds of the Bond will be loaned by the Authority to the Borrower and used to pay a portion of the costs of constructing and equipping an indoor sports complex, including a turf practice field, multipurpose court, indoor track, strength and conditioning facilities, training room, specialized training facilities, indoor event space, and related improvements at the Borrower’s educational facilities located at 3131 South 156th Street, Omaha, Nebraska (the “Project”). The Project is, or will be, owned, leased and operated by the Borrower.
