NOTICE OF HEARING
VILLAGE OF WATERLOO, NEBRASKA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing before the Planning Commission of the Village of Waterloo, Nebraska, will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 6 P.M. in the Waterloo Town Hall, 509 S Front St, Waterloo, NE 68069, to receive public comment on a blight and substandard study for an area located within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the Village, and to consider a recommendation to the Village Board whether to designate such area as blighted, substandard and in need of redevelopment pursuant to the Community Development Law, Nebraska Revised Statutes, sections 18-2101, et seq. The approximate location of the proposed blighted and substandard area is to the southwest of the intersection of West Maple Road and Hwy 275, within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the Village.
A map and legal description of the proposed blighted and substandard area and the blight and substandard study for the area can be viewed at the office of the Village Clerk at 509 S Front St, Waterloo, NE 68069, telephone number 402-779-2292.
At said time and place, all interested parties may appear and be heard.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Village of Waterloo Planning Board will hold a hearing on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 6:00 pm to discuss Applications for Variance for lots 3 and 4 in Harvest Heights on the Creek for commercial buildings to be placed closer than the required 17ft distance from another structure and for 3200 N 240th St for the street access to be located closer than 150’ from the intersection as recommended by the street superintendent. This hearing, which is open to the public, will be held at the Village Hall at 509 S. Front St.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Chairman and Trustees of the Waterloo Village Board, serving as the Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 7:00 pm to discuss Applications for Variance for lots 3 and 4 in Harvest Heights on the Creek for commercial buildings to be placed closer than the required 17ft distance from another structure and for 3200 N 240th St for the street access to be located closer than 150’ from the intersection as recommended by the street superintendent.
