NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 8, 2019, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska.  Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

CITY OF OMAHA
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on October 8, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement for Altech Business Park, located northwest of 144th and F Streets, to add language that limits the amendment only to Lot 1, Altech Business Park Replat 11, between the City of Omaha and Ted Grace, providing site development standards

An ordinance to provide regular tree grinding and disposal of tree debris collected and deposited by the City at the City’s Tree Debris Management Site or at other temporary sites established by the City during times of storms or other natural or man-made events causing significant tree debris to assist the public in post event cleanup efforts. The Agreement specifies the terms and conditions for such services between the City and Soil Dynamics Composting Farm through year 2020. This Agreement may be extended for five (5) additional one-year terms, if the City exercises the option

An ordinance (1) to approve an agreement between the City of Omaha and Dr. Gaylene Armstrong in the amount of $150,000.00; and (2) to authorize funding for such agreement from the City of Omaha’s FY 2018 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP) Grant, Award #2018-MO-BX-0004, awarded by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance; to provide funding for research evaluation as part of the Heartland Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Project; to authorize payment from such grant funding and involving appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter
