Public notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Valley, Nebraska, held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. on October 13, 2026, the following ordinance was passed and adopted:

METROPOLITAN UTILITIES DISTRICT OF OMAHA AMENDED GAS RULES 

AND REGULATIONS

The M.U.D. Board of Directors approved changes to the Gas Rules and Regulations on September 2, 2026, which are effective immediately.

Updates include changes to the preface of the Gas Rules to better align with statutory authority. The Gas Rules also include changes to general conditions and language regarding gas delivery pressure, gas main exten-sions, location of meters, installation of gas equipment and pressure testing requirements.
