Waiver of Section 55-742(b)(2) – Variance to the parking regulations to allow parking in the front yard setback in a residential district to allow for the conversion of a third garage stall into an in-home occupation (salon); 5422 S. 174th St.

Waiver of Section 55-108 – Variance to the required interior side yard setback from 25’ to 23.3’ and to the maximum impervious coverage from 25% to 28% to allow for the construction of a garage addition; 6041 S. 49th St.

Waiver of Section 55-833 – Variance to the maximum sign budget for a civic use in a LO District from 40 sq. ft. to 81.5 sq. ft. to allow for the installation of a signage plan for a new guidance services building; 8000 Chicago St.

Waiver of Section 55-146, 55-715, & 55-782(b)(2) – Variance to the maximum impervious coverage from 40% to 48%; to the rear yard setback from 25’ to 10’; to the rear yard setback for a patio with no structural elements above two feet from ground level from 15’ to 10’; and to the required minimum depth from 25’ to 2’7” to allow for the construction of a garage/home addition and covered patio, an uncovered patio around a pool, and a driveway addition; 15910 California St.

Waiver of Section 55-742(b)(2) & 55-715 – Variance to the parking regulations to allow parking in the front yard setback in a residential district and to the minimum street yard landscaping from 55% to 16% to allow for the construction of a driveway; 2228 Poppleton Ave.

Waiver of Section 55-740(e) – Variance to the hard-surface driveway requirement to allow for the construction of a pole barn for storage purposes with a door wider than 6’; 8920 N. 96th St.

Waiver of Section 55-836 – Variance to the maximum sign budget for a residential use from 40 sq. ft. to 57.5 sq. ft.; to the maximum height for a wall sign from 20’ to 46’; and to allow for a projecting sign not otherwise permitted for a residential use in order to allow for a proposed signage plan for a new apartment complex; 1508 Marcy St.

Waiver of Section 55-742(b)(2) & 55-715 – Variance to the parking regulations to allow parking in the front yard setback in a residential district and to the minimum street yard landscaping from 55% to 35% to allow a previously constructed driveway addition to remain; 918 S. 38th St.

Waiver of Section 55-186 – Variance to the minimum lot width from 50’ to 43’ to allow the property to be re-platted into one lot; 365 N. 47th St.

Waiver of Section 55-836 – Variance to the required setback for a monument sign from 12’ to 0’ to allow for the installation of a monument sign to serve a new office building; 7016 Grover St.

Waiver of Section 55-186 – Variance to the required front yard setback from 35’ to 0’ to allow for the construction of a carport; 6037 S. 42nd St.

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Notice is given to the public according to Chapter 41 of the Omaha Municipal Code of the application of U-Pull It to obtain a minor air emission construction permit for a hammer mill operation at 5600 S. 60th Street, Omaha.

The Control Officer will hold a public hearing to address comments, requests, or petitions that raise legal, policy, or discretionary questions as significant public interest exists concerning the application.
