NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON APPLICATION FOR
HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIP FUNDS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on May 6, 2025 at the Housing Foundation for Sarpy County Office at 8214 Armstrong Circle, Bellevue, NE 68147, 11822 S 36th, LLC will hold a public hearing concerning an application to the Department of Economic Development for HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) award. This funding is available to eligible entities for local affordable housing activities.
The 11822 S 36th, LLC is requesting $900,000 of HOME for a 38 unit project consisting of new construction senior multifamily apartments, northeast of the intersection of South 36th Street and Granada Parkway. New, senior affordable housing is scarce in the Bellevue area. Address is 11822 S 36th Street, Bellevue, NE 68123. $900,000 will be for the benefit of people at or below 60% of the Area Median Income. No residents will be displaced due to this project. The project will also consist of $5,005,000 from the proceeds of LIHTC and AHTCs, $1,100,000 from deferred developer fees, $2,300,000 from a conventional mortgage and $200,000 from managing member contributions.

The grant application will available for public inspection at the Housing Foundation for Sarpy County Office. All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing at which time you will have an opportunity to be heard regarding the grant application. Written or oral testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing scheduled for 10 AM, May 6, 2025, at the Housing Foundation for Sarpy County Offices at 8214 Armstrong Circle, Bellevue, NE 68147. Written comments addressed to Rob Woodling at 1886 South 126th Street, Omaha, NE 68144 will be accepted if received on or before May 6, 2025 at 5 PM.
