Elon Musk doesn’t like people working from home. A year ago he declared the end of remote work for employees at car maker Tesla. Now he has called the desire of the “laptop classes” to work from home “immoral”.
“You’re gonna work from home and you’re gonna make everyone else who made your car come work in the factory?” he said in an interview on US news network CNBC:

This past week was National Police Week. I signed onto the U.S. Senate’s annual resolution commemorating Police Week and officers that have fallen in the line of duty, as I do each year. By a classic act of uniquely Unicameral political logrolling, a two-thirds majority of conservative senators will enact a tighter abortion ban after all.

Early on in my writing courses, I ask students to define their sense of rhetoric. Responses range from “persuasion” to “manipulation,” but they tend to share a negative connotation. Little wonder: In America today, the word is often used to dismiss a political opponent. Whereas a Democrat may find a favorite candidate’s speech inspiring, a Republican might call it “mere rhetoric,” implying a lack of substance or even honesty.

House hacking is a real estate investing strategy that has become extremely popular over the past decade. First-time and repeat homebuyers are getting creative when buying real estate through various forms of house hacking. This strategy can be successfully pulled off in a single-family home with multiple rooms or a multi-family building. The goal is to rent out the other available rooms (or units) and use that rental income to offset your housing costs.
I often meet people who have never heard of the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and as the executive director, my typical response goes something like this: The endowment is something all Nebraskans should be so proud of — it’s the only public-private endowment of its kind in the United States, it’s funded by the Nebraska Legislature in addition to private donations — and no matter where in the state you live, you’ve likely enjoyed the fruits of its resources.
