NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Jesse Lowe Conference Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on January 31, 2023, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of constructing 205th Street and Cumberland Drive Intersection Improvements, project identified as OPW 54061; providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary construction easements, providing that if said parcel cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed.

An ordinance to approve the Interlocal Cooperation Act Agreement between the City of Omaha, Nebraska and the City of Ralston, Nebraska concerning the responsibility for Highway 85 following its relinquishment by the State of Nebraska Department of Transportation.

An ordinance to approve a Non-Exclusive Public ROW License Agreement between the City of Omaha and Ubiquity Nebraska, LLC, for a period of ten years with additional ten-year options; authorizing the Mayor to sign and the City Clerk to attest the Non-Exclusive Public ROW License Agreement.

An ordinance to transfer a permanent water main easement in land to Metropolitan Utilities District of Omaha, for purposes of relocating facilities, and appurtenances thereto, upon City-owned property located in in Elmwood Park from 60th and Leavenworth Street to Jones Street; to authorize the Mayor to execute the Easement.

An ordinance to approve an Amendment to the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds Agreement between the City of Omaha and Front Porch Investments involving the payment of funds from appropriations of more than one (1) year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended; to allow Front Porch Investments to administer City of Omaha Rescue Act Program Funds (ARPA Funds) in the amount of $20,000,000.00 pursuant to a revised Workplan for affordable and mixed income housing for the Omaha Community in accordance with all revised federal laws and guidelines.
