NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Roskens Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. This meeting will have video conference capability. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened. The video conference details and an agenda for the meeting is posted on the City of Omaha website at www.cityofomaha.org.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on February 1, 2022, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

An ordinance authorizing the issuance of a purchase order to The Filter Shop, Inc. in the estimated annual amount of $81,372.71, for the purchase of air filters to be utilized by the Facilities Management Division, to be effective for a term of twelve (12) months and is extendable for four (4) additional one-year terms; to provide for payments from appropriations of more than one year in accordance with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter of 1956, as amended; to provide for payments from a specific account.

An ordinance to transfer a permanent easement in land to Magellan Pipeline L.P., for purposes of relocating facilities, and appurtenances thereto, upon City-owned land located in Part of Government Lot 1, located in the NW ¼ of Sec 14-T15N-R13E; to authorize the Mayor to execute the attached Right-of-Way Easement.

An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a Mixed Use District Development Agreement between the City of Omaha and Sam Manzitto, Manzitto Inc., for Antler View, located northwest of 191st and Bedford Avenues, to allow an indoor sports and recreation use.

An ordinance to amend Section 20-163 requiring any person charging a tow fee, administrative fee, storage fee or other related fee to provide a receipt of payment to the person reclaiming the vehicle.

An ordinance to approve a parking lease agreement between the City of Omaha and the Logan Hospitality, LLC for the lease of seventy-five (75) parking stalls in the parking garage facility owned by the City of Omaha and located at 301 North 19th Street, beginning February 1, 2022 at market rate, as provided for in the parking lease agreement, with increases as appropriate; for a period of fifteen (15) years, with options to renew.
