Tuesday, August 04, 2026, 09:00 AM at Starting at 8750 Vernon Avenue. The itinerary includes visits to all sites; please note that attendees are responsible for their own transportation between locations.

 

All bidders are required to comply with the Omaha Contract Compliance Program. Details of this program are incorporated in the bid documents.

As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany bid.  City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, and the bidders shall have the right to appeal any decision to the City Council.

The City of Omaha requires all bidders to submit their bids electronically. Each respondent is responsible for taking the necessary steps to ensure their submission is received and complete by the listed closing date and time. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to the same.

2025 Safe Streets and Roads for All Grant: Sorenson Parkway and Storz Expressway Intersection Improvements and Demonstration Projects – 

OPW 55178

 

The City of Omaha was awarded funds from the Federal Highway Administration from the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program in 2025. The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to solicit qualifications from consulting firms to provide services for the City of Omaha 2025 SS4A Grant project to design and construct roundabouts at three intersections.

Interested firms may request a detailed scope of work by emailing their requests to ae.selection@cityofomaha.org, by writing to the Public Works Department, Attention:  Sylvia, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, NE 68183 or by faxing their requests to (402) 444-5248 prior to August 5, 2026.
