NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Pest Control Services

PROJECT #: PM-NE-2024, Spec. 22-24

The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha, d/b/a/ Metro is seeking qualified responsible contractors to provide Pest Control Services, for a period of maximum three (3) years with two (2) optional one-year extensions for Metro owned properties to include Metro’s Fleet Unit, the 2222 Cuming Campus and Transit Centers, at various locations around Omaha, Nebraska.

Bidder will supply all necessary and needed labor, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, to perform pest control. Staff for this project is expected to be qualified, with proper training and qualifications to provide Pest Control Services.

The current forms of the IFB and all issued Addenda are available for inspection at Metro’s Administrative Offices located at 2222 Cuming Street in Omaha, Nebraska (“Administrative Offices”) and online at the following link www.ometro.com/procurement/. Metro reserves the right to modify all or any of the same at any time prior to the Submission Deadline through an Addendum.

There will be one (1) Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11:00 am. Metro strongly recommends assisting. Conference will be held in the Metro Board room. If you are attending, please wear close-toes shoes and bring a high visibility safety vest if it is necessary to walk in our bus garage or any other location. Requests for Clarifications, Substitutions or approved equals must be submitted in writing on the forms provided in this solicitation no later than November 18, 2024.

Funds for the project are being provided through a Federal Transportation Administration grant. Federal Provisions applicable to this project are included in the bid package. The bid proposal must be made in the forms provided by Metro. Bidders must supply all required information prior to the time of bid opening.

Bids shall be submitted by 2:00 pm CST on Monday, November 25, 2024. Open Public Bid will be held the same day as submission deadline at the Metro Board Room. Metro prefers Bids to be submitted via Mail or hand delivery. The upper-left hand corner of the sealed enveloped must identify the following information:

No person or entity submitting a proposal in response to this IFB, nor any officer, employee, agent, representative, relative or consultant representing such a person (or entity) may contact through any means or engage in any discussion concerning the award of this contract with any member of Metro’s Board or any employee of Metro (excluding Procurement staff) during the period beginning on the date of proposal issue and ending on the date of the selection of Contractor.  Any such contact would be grounds for disqualification of the Proposer.
