PUBLIC NOTICE

A public hearing will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 in the County Boardroom at the Sarpy County Courthouse, 1210 Golden Gate Drive, Papillion, Nebraska, for the purpose of adding appropriations for the 2023 FY Budget.  The E911 Wireless Service fund 2023 fund budget will be increased by $785 as a result of a permanent cash transfer to the E911 Wireless Sinking fund, due to the Public Service Commission requirement to transfer all unspent funds to the E911 Wireless Sinking fund at the end of the fiscal year. Cash on hand will be the source of source of revenue. The SWAT/CNU fund budget will be increased by $6,800. Cash on hand will be the source of revenue. The Stadium Capital Maintenance fund budget will be increased by $200,000 due to higher than anticipated maintenance costs. A permanent transfer from the Inheritance Tax fund will be the source of revenue.

Meetings, open to the public, will be held consecutively beginning at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27,  2023, at the Sarpy County Courthouse Boardroom.  Agendas are kept continually current and available for inspection at the Sarpy County Clerk/Register of Deeds office and published on our website at sarpy.gov or sarpy.civicweb.net. The Board shall have the right to modify the agendas to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meetings.
