Notice is hereby given that Fin Care US LLC, 1300 South Country Club Drive, Suite 1302, Mesa, Arizona, NMLS No. 2297730, has filed an application with the Department of Banking and Finance, State of Nebraska, for an Installment Loan License in compliance with the provisions of the Nebraska Installment Loan Act. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL RESOURCES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 2 PM CT on Thursday, April 25, 2024, virtually at https://bit.ly/3xtPnyZ, Brinshore Development, LLC will hold a public hearing concerning an application to the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for a Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) award. This funding is available to eligible entities to rebuild the affected areas impacted by DR-4420 and provide crucial seed money to start the recovery process.
Brinshore Development, LLC is requesting $2,000,000 in CDBG-DR funds for the new construction of the 3030 Upland Parkway Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project, which consists of approximately 74 units of affordable rental housing for families in Omaha. Approximately 57 units will be income restricted at below 40-60% of the area median income. 3030 Upland Parkway is a housing phase of the Southside Terrace – Indian Hill HUD Choice Neighborhoods Implementation (CNI) Grant. The 3030 Upland Parkway project will increase the affordable housing supply in a disaster-impacted area. The project will be located at South 30th St and Upland Parkway. Project sources also include approximately $1,800,000 in CNI funding, $12,700,000 in 9% LIHTC and Nebraska Affordable Housing Tax Credit equity, $150,000 in 45L Tax Credits, $4,800,000 in philanthropy, and a first mortgage in the approximate amount of $5,200,000. Required/reasonable benefits will be provided to persons displaced to mitigate adverse effects and hardships. Any low and moderate income housing which is demolished or converted will be replaced.
The grant application will be available upon request. All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing at which time you will have an opportunity to be heard regarding the grant application. Written and oral testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing scheduled for 2 PM CT, April 25, 2024, at https://bit.ly/3xtPnyZ. Written comments addressed to Bill Lukash at wlukash@brinshore.com will be accepted if received on or before May 2, 2024.
