NOTICE OF HEARING

VILLAGE OF WATERLOO, NEBRASKA

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special meeting and public hearing before the Planning Commission of the Village of Waterloo, Nebraska, will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 6 P.M. in the Waterloo Town Hall, 509 S Front St, Waterloo, NE 68069, to consider and possibly take action on a redevelopment plan entitled: “Redevelopment Plan for the Arvada Park Redevelopment Project,” an amendment and restatement to the LaRita Properties LLC Redevelopment Plan, for redevelopment pursuant to the Community Development Law, Nebraska Revised Statutes, sections 18-2101, et seq., within a portion of a blighted and substandard community redevelopment area of the Village, approximately located to the northwest of the intersection of West Maple Road and Hwy 275, within the Village.

A map of the proposed area to be redeveloped and the cost-benefit analysis for the redevelopment project set forth in the redevelopment plan is available for review at the office of the Village Clerk at 509 S Front St, Waterloo, NE 68069, telephone number 402-779-2292.

At said time and place, all interested parties may appear and be heard.
