REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT PLAN

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will meet and hold a public hearing on October 7, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183 for the purpose of hearing testimony for:

Redevelopment Project Plan.

The redevelopment project plan proposes the construction of a new three story apartment building with 80 assisted living units for seniors and 20 memory care living units for seniors.

The Planning Board recommended approval of this Redevelopment Project Plan at the August 6, 2025 public hearing.

The Redevelopment Project Plan authorizes the City’s participation in the redevelopment of this project site through the allocation of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) in an amount up to $3,300,113.00, which includes capitalized interest. TIF loan proceeds will be used to offset eligible expenses such as acquisition, grading and sitework, engineered foundations, architectural and engineering costs, and other public improvements as required. The total estimated project costs are $30,000,000.00, but are subject to change as final costs come in.

A copy of said plan is available for public inspection in the City Clerk’s Office.
