Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on September 22, 2020 and passed and approved the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 42317
AN ORDINANCE to amend the boundaries of the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located southeast of 189th Street and West Maple Road; and to provide for an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section I. In accordance with Sections 55-681 through 55-688 and 55-886 of the Omaha Municipal Code, the official zoning map adopted by Section 55-65 of the Omaha Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, changed and amended so that: Lot I, Antler View Replat Three, and Lot I, Antler View East Replat One, subdivisions as surveyed, platted and recorded in Douglas County, Nebraska, are hereby rezoned to be included in and incorporated into the MCC-Major Commercial Corridor Overlay District; provided, that the base zoning district for such property shall not be changed by this ordinance. Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect fifteen (15) days from the date of its passage.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Omaha met on September 22, 2020 and passed and approved the following ordinances:
ORDINANCE NO. 42318
AN ORDINANCE to approve the acceptance of and authorize disbursement from the FY2020/2021 Douglas County Board of Commissioners’ Visitor Improvement Fund Grant in the amount of $68,200.00 to further develop and improve the OMAR the Troll attraction along the riverfront at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge as detailed in the attached grant application; to authorize the payments specified therein; and to provide an effective date. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF OMAHA: Section 1. That, as recommended by the Mayor, the acceptance of and disbursement from the Douglas County Board of Commissioners’ FY2020/202 l Visitor Improvement Fund Grant in the amount of $68,200.00 to further develop and improve the OMAR the Troll attraction along the riverfront at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge is hereby approved. Section 2. A copy of such grant award, special conditions, and grant application are attached by this reference and made a part hereof. Section 3. That the Finance Director of the City of Omaha is authorized to pay hereof during each Fiscal Year 2020, from Fund 12164 - Omaha Convention and Visitors Bureau Grant, Organization No. 130807 - Grant Visit Omaha, Account No. 42112 -Advertising. Section 4. That this Ordinance, not being of legislative character, shall be in force and take effect immediately upon its date of passage.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on October 6, 2020, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
An ordinance declaring the necessity of acquiring, for use by the City of Omaha, the necessary private property for the purpose of constructing 51st and Madison Exposed Sewer Crossing Stabilization, project identified as OPW 53734; providing that the City negotiate with the property owners for land acquisitions, permanent easements and temporary construction easements, providing that if said parcel cannot be obtained by negotiation, condemnation proceedings be undertaken and completed.
An ordinance (1) approving a bid from Cordico for the Omaha Police Department Officer Wellness Mobile Application in the amount of $106,600.00 over a three (3) year period ending August 31, 2021; providing for the payments from appropriations of more than one year in conformity with Section 5.17 of the Home Rule Charter; to authorize the Purchasing Agent to issue a purchase order.

The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Roskens Room, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.
