CITY OF OMAHA
NOTICE TO PUBLIC
The City Council of the City of Omaha will have a Pre-Council Meeting at 10:30 A.M. in the Conference Room, LC-1, Omaha/Douglas Civic Center, 1819 Farnam Street, for the purpose of discussing the agenda items and briefing and discussion of public business; and a regular Council Meeting at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, in the Legislative Chambers of the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center in Omaha, Nebraska.  Proposed agenda kept continually current shall be available for public inspection in the Omaha/Douglas Civic Center at the Office of the City Clerk, but the Council shall have the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting when convened.

CITY OF OMAHA
PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
 
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on June 18, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
 
An ordinance transferring funds from unencumbered balances in the 2018 General Fund Budget of the City of Omaha in accordance with Section 5.10 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended, and to fix the effective date hereof to be immediately upon passage in accordance with Section 2.12 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Omaha, 1956, as amended. (2018 Year-End Closing)
 
An ordinance to amend Sections 23-177, 23-402, 23-403, 23-404, 23-507, 22-32 of the Omaha Municipal Code to reflect changes for the Administrative and Executive Classifications for the years 2018, 2019, and 2020; to provide that any ordinances of the City of Omaha, and any rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, which are in conflict with this ordinance shall not be applicable to those employees in Administrative and Executive Classifications
 
An ordinance authorizing and providing for an issue of a special tax revenue redevelopment bond in the aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $5,000,000.00 to be termed for identification purposes "Special Tax Revenue Redevelopment Bond (Kiewit Project), Series 2019,"; prescribing the form and detail of said bond; ratifying and confirming the creation of a community development agency; providing for the annual certification of the amount of community redevelopment tax to be levied for each succeeding fiscal year; pledging the special tax revenues to the payment of the principal of and interest on said bond as the same fall due and to carry out all other covenants of this Ordinance; limiting the payment of said bond solely to said special tax revenues; authorizing the sale of said bond by private placement; directing the preparation of a transcript of proceedings authorizing the issuance, sale and delivery of said bond; delegating authority to the Finance Director to determine the final prices, interest rates, principal amounts and redemption provisions for said bond
