State of Nebraska Public Notices 5/2/2025
The following proposed Rule and Regulation may be inspected at the offices of the Nebraska Public Service Commission during regular office hours. Comments must be filed with the Commission in the manner and within the time prescribed in Section 14 of the Rules of Commission Procedure:
RULE AND REGULATION #213: In the Matter of the Commission, on its own motion, seeking to amend Title 291, Chapter 15, Enhanced Wireless 911 Services Rules and Regulations for general cleanup and updates and for consistency with Nebraska Legislative Bill 362 (2025).
Written comments are due to the Commission by 4:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, May 23, 2025. Parties filing comments should email an electronic copy to brittany.seabrooks@nebraska.gov, dave.sankey@nebraska.gov, and sara.hulac@nebraska.gov.
The public hearing to receive testimony on the proposed Rules and Regulations has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Central Time in the Commission Hearing Room. Remote access to the hearing will be available via WebEx at the following link: https://psc.nebraska.gov/stream. Individuals may also attend the meeting by telephone: 1-408-418-9388 and then enter 2485 596 7539, when prompted for an access code.
The Commission believes there will be no fiscal impact as a result of these proposed rules and regulations.
Copies of the proposed rules are available on the Commission website at https://psc.nebraska.gov/administration/proposed-rules-regulations. Anyone wishing to receive written notices regarding this docket shall provide contact information to the Commission and ask to be added to the service list.

The Nebraska Public Service Commission will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission Hearing Room, 300 The Atrium, 1200 N Street, Lincoln, Nebraska.
