INVITATION TO BID
2025–26 SCHOOL FACILITIES
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
RALSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS
1. PROJECT INFORMATION. Douglas County School District No. 28-0054, commonly known as Ralston Public Schools (the “District”), is requesting bids from qualified individuals or entities to complete a school facilities improvement project at multiple sites throughout the District. The project sites at the Ralston High Stadium and the Central Office Building will be available immediately upon the District awarding the contract. Substantial completion of the project must be achieved by August 1, 2026.
2. PRE-BID CONFERENCE. All Bidders are invited to attend a pre-bid conference on November 21, 2025, at 2 pm local time at beginning at Ralston High School Stadium to familiarize themselves with the site conditions, bidding requirements, General/Supplementary Conditions of Construction, and to ensure comprehension of the specifications. Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions posed at Pre-Bid Conference by Addendum.
3. BID SUBMISSION AND OPENING. Bids must be made on the bid form contained in the Bidding Documents. One (1) completed copy of the bid form, signed by the bidder, shall be addressed and delivered to Ralston Public Schools, Attn: Superintendent, 8545 Park Drive, Ralston, NE 68127. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope that shows Bidder’s name, address, and telephone number on the outside of the envelop. The lower left corner of the sealed envelope shall be clearly marked “2025–26 School Facilities Improvement Project.” Bids will be received until 2 pm local time on December 4, 2025, at which time they will be opened publicly and simultaneously in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives. E-mail, facsimile, electronic, or telephone bids are not allowed. Any bid received after the deadline will not be opened or considered, and will be returned to bidder.
4. AWARDING OF BID. The bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. The winning bid shall be announced by the Board of Education at its meeting to be held on December 8, 2025, or at such other meeting determined by the Board.
5. BIDDING DOCUMENTS. On or after November 14, 2025, the Bidding Documents may be examined, accessed, and obtained as follows:

Bidding Documents will be available between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. All Bidders who require hard copies of Bidding Documents shall place an order directly with A & D Technical Supply and shall pay all costs associated with printing and, if applicable, all shipping costs. Only full and complete sets will be printed; partial set orders are not allowed. Hard copy Bidding Documents do not need to be returned as no refund will be issued.
6. INQUIRIES. All questions, inquiries, or requests for clarification or site inspection should be submitted by email to Superintendent Jason Buckingham at Jason_Buckingham@ralstonschools.org. The District and/or Architect will provide responses to bidders’ questions at Pre-Bid Conference by Addendum.
