PUBLIC HEARING NOTICES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Omaha, Nebraska, will hold public hearings on May 20, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM in Legislative Chambers, 1819 Farnam Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68183, for the purpose of hearing testimony for:
Res. that, the Preliminary Plat entitled Southside Terrace 3, a subdivision inside city limits, located southeast of 30th and T Streets (property is located within an NCE-Overlay District), is hereby, is hereby accepted; and, the preparation of the final plat of this subdivision is hereby authorized.
An ordinance to rezone property located northeast of Rainwood Road and Blair High Road from AG-Agricultural District to GI-General Industrial District.
An ordinance to rezone property located northeast of Rainwood Road and Blair High Road from AG-Agricultural District to HI-Heavy Industrial District.
Res. that, the Final Plat entitled McGill Industrial Park, a subdivision outside city limits, located northeast of Rainwood Road and Blair High Road, is hereby approved and accepted.
Res. that, the Special Use Permit application submitted by Burlington Park 2, LLC for a Special Use Permit to allow Scrap and salvage services in the GI District, located north of 111th Street and Rainwood Road, is hereby approved and the Permits and Inspection Division is directed to issue the necessary permit therefor, provided the conditions set out in Exhibit “A” of the referenced application, conditions set out in Exhibit “B”, and all applicable local or state statutes, ordinances or regulations are complied with. The proposed Special Use Permit has been reviewed and evaluated pursuant to, and meets each of, the criteria set forth in Section 55-885 of the Omaha Municipal Code.
Res. that, the Subdivision Agreement among the City of Omaha, McGill Industrial Park, LLC, 133 Irvington Industrial, LLC, The McGill Industrial Park Owners Association, and Sanitary and Improvement District (S.&I.D.) 639 of Douglas County, Nebraska, as recommended by the Mayor, is hereby approved. The Subdivision is to be known as McGill Industrial Park (Lots 1-20 and Outlots A-D) and is located northeast of Rainwood Road and Blair High Road.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 1401 Veterans Drive from DR- Development Reserve District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
An ordinance to rezone property located at 965 South 51st Street from R4(35)-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density) to R5-Urban Family Residential District.
An ordinance to rezone property located at 3819 X Street from R7-Medium-Density Multiple-Family Residential District to R4-Single-Family Residential District (High-Density).
An ordinance to rezone property located northeast of 40th and Blondo Streets from R5(35)-Urban Family Residential District to R5-Urban Family Residential District.
An ordinance to amend the boundaries of the ACI-3 (PL)- Area of Civic Importance Overlay District, to incorporate into that district the property located at 707 North 102nd Street and 10000 California Street.
An ordinance to approve a Major Amendment to a PUR-Planned Unit Redevelopment Overlay District located at 1440 South 13th Street, to approve the Development Plan.
